Meetings with footballers from Polish leagues – both men's and women's, one’s own referee's whistle and the first red card shown on one of the pitches of the leading Polish teams surrounded by crowds of fans – does it sound like a dream? Thanks to the agreement between the University of Lodz and the Lodz Football Association, it can become a reality!
This year our community is celebrating its 80th anniversary. This round anniversary allows us to return to what is important to us: community, dialogue and cooperation – truly sporting values that we would like to promote among our academic community. In this exceptional time, we want to create a ‘back to human’ University, which educates and shapes new generations. That is why we have prepared a referee course for all interested students from our university. After all, as a diverse, open and tolerant university, we want every person belonging to our academic community to feel like an important part of it!
The course is organised in agreement between the University of Lodz and the Lodz Football Association. A certificate of completion of the course, allowing its attendees to referee matches throughout Poland, will be issued upon completion.
