The upcoming edition of the event is five days of meetings of the academic community with representatives of companies and institutions from Lodz and the region. The event will be held at the Faculties of Mathematics and Computer Science, Economics and Sociology, Philology, Chemistry as well as Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Lodz.
The Industry Job Fair, organised in various locations of the University of Lodz, is an initiative of an intimate nature, facilitating effective communication and precise matching of expectations of both parties to the recruitment process. Each day of the event focuses on a different group of specialists, enabling effective establishment of professional contacts.
Urszula Osipuk – Team Lead Early Career Talent from Philips, whose representatives can be met this year at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology and the Faculty of Philology, talks about the need to organise job fairs:

The University of Lodz has been actively offering support to students who are entering the job market for years. It has been doing so by organising regular meetings with representatives of business, public administration and non-governmental organisations. In the face of dynamic changes in the job market, both employers and future graduates must flexibly adapt to new challenges. Industry Job Fairs play a key role in this process, increasing the chances of a successful career path.
Dr hab. Radosław Olszewski, Associate Professor at the University of Lodz, the University of Lodz Vice-Rector for Academic and External Relations underlines:
WorkShow – Industry Job Fair is a response to the dynamically evolving job market and the growing requirements of employers towards young specialists. Our goal is not only to provide students and graduates with up-to-date knowledge on trends in various sectors of the economy, but also to create real employment opportunities. Cooperation between universities and the socio-economic environment plays a key role in developing practical competences and preparing future graduates for professional challenges. Thanks to such initiatives, we create a bridge between education and business, enabling young people to smoothly move from university to the job market.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to take advantage of advice from career advisors who will help refine application documents during short consultations. Those who value competition will be able to take part in competitions with prizes provided by this year's exhibitors. All you need to do is visit the Career Office stand during the WorkShow and test your skills!
