Sports Juwenalia is organised by the University of Lodz Sports Facility and the Academic Sports Association of the University of Lodz. All games and recreational activities will take place at the University of Lodz Sports Facility at Styrska 20/24.
In order to participate you must register by 9 May of the current year until 12:00 p.m. via the form.
Programme of Sports Juwenalia
Table tennis
- table tennis tournament for women and men

Swimming
- start at 9:30 a.m., warm-up 9:00 a.m.

The swimming competitions will include:
- 6x50 faculty relays for employees and students – mixed teams, including at least 2 employees
- individual competitions for employees, i.e. 100-meter freestyle for women and men in the age categories up to 40, between 41 – 60 and over 61
- individual competitions for students i.e. 100-meter freestyle in the women's and men's categories
Volleyball
Volleyball tournament for 16 teams, consisting of a minimum of 6 players. Team composition is determined based on the "first come, first served" principle!

Basketball

3x3 basketball tournament for faculty teams consisting of employees and students. Any compositions. In the meantime, there will also be a 3-point shooting competition!
Bench press tournament

The tournament for employees and students in the women's and men's categories, where one will lift half of one’s body weight.

Recreational activities for everyone
Yoga on the grass, outdoor Zumba, Nordic walking – the programme is open to anyone and everyone who appreciates movement, activity and good shape. We hope that even those who find it difficult to mobilise themselves for this type of recreation will like the activities.

Juwenalia 2024
Juwenalia (Student Festival) of the University of Lodz and the Medical University of Lodz will take over a week – on 6-14 May various events will be available to students and doctoral students from both partner universities. This year's festival programme includes not only outdoor events and concerts on the premises of the Lumumbowo student housing estate, but also sports attractions, training, tournaments and competitions. This year, after a long break, the iconic Juwenalia Parade returns to Piotrkowska Street. Detailed schedule of the event is available in the news section.
