Rekrutacja do projektu UNiCalność – wystawa studenckich prac fotograficznych

The University of Lodz invites BA, MA and doctoral students of the University of Lodz to participate in a unique scientific project entitled UNiCalność. The aim of the project is to prepare an interdisciplinary photographic exhibition about selected cities and partner universities associated in the UNIC Alliance. The project will be carried out under the supervision of outstanding tutors: Prof. Aneta Pawłowska, Dr Adam Drozdowski and Dr Alicja Piotrowska. The deadline for submissions is 10 March 2025.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • Fully funded participation in a five-day study visit to various UNIC partner cities, which will take place during the summer holidays or, with the faculty supervisor's approval, during the academic year.
  • The opportunity to work on an international project, take photographs and develop materials on the history, characteristics and current problems of the UNIC partner cities. Another step will be to participate in international seminars in order to prepare the planned exhibition more effectively.
  • Organisation of an exhibition of your own photographic works created during your stays in UNIC cities during the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year (you must be a student of the University of Lodz at that time).
  • The opportunity to develop skills and gain practical experience in the implementation of art projects.
  • The chance to present the results of your work in seminars and ultimately in the form of an exhibition, also available in a digital version.
  • Cooperation with experienced researchers and students from different study programmes, ensuring interdisciplinarity and diversity of perspectives.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Students of the University of Lodz who are interested in urban issues, culture and art.
  • Persons open to international cooperation and willing to participate in artistic projects.
  • Candidates with English or other foreign language skills (depending on the place of study visit).

  • Certificate of participation in the programme.
