About the Mentorship Project – Your path to success
The University of Lodz Mentorship Project is a six-month programme that provides students of the University of Lodz with the opportunity to work with a selected mentor – a professional from a given industry. Throughout the project, you will participate in regular meetings with your mentor, which can take place both online and in person. The aim of the cooperation is to develop your professional and personal competences, as well as help you determine your career path.
Who are mentors?
Mentors involved in the project are graduates of the University of Lodz – experts in their fields who are successful professionals. They are representatives of the world of business, media, culture, law and IT. The most important thing, however, is that the mentors are passionate and committed people who are eager to share their knowledge and experience. Working with them is a unique opportunity to get to know the functioning of the industry in which you plan to develop your career. However, if you are still looking for your path and have doubts, development under the guidance of a mentor will help you dispel them and find the right direction.
Who is the project addressed to?
The project is open to all students of the University of Lodz, regardless of grade point average or their achievements. What is important is the desire to develop, openness to new challenges and readiness to work on yourself. If you want to better understand your potential and develop under the watchful eye of an experienced mentor, this project is for you!

The call – take the first step!

Mentor selection – Read the mentor profiles and choose the one that best suits your needs. You can indicate a maximum of 3 mentors, their profiles are available on the project website.

Application – Fill in the application form by 17 November.

Participant selection – Your application will be forwarded to the mentors and they will select people who they can accompany in their development and provide support.

Announcement of the results – We will inform you about the call results by 29 November and publish a list of established mentorship pairs on the project website.

Development under the guidance of a mentor – The six-month cooperation will begin as of January 2025. During this period you will jointly set goals and an action plan.
Workshops for the participants
In order to help you make the most of the time spent with your mentor, we have prepared two workshops:
- 5 December 2024 – Introductory workshop to help you prepare for efficient cooperation with a mentor.
- March 2025 – Workshop summarising the first meetings with mentors, a space to exchange experiences and obtain support.
